Artist's Comments FULLVIEW My entry for dA's & Wacom's "Bring Your Vision to Life"-contest with the theme Good vs. Evil. My vision on this theme is quiet simple. If you really think of the absolute good and evil, you know that the good never would harm or even fight the evil (at least not in a violent way). Because those things (violence & stuff) are evil and we're talking about good, right?  So that point inspired me for this picture. For visualization, I chose rather traditional looks for good and evil but I didn't want to match the total cliché of an angel vs. a devil/demon scene and added some modern things like tatoos and an armbrace. I also left out the wings. The angel's ones didn't fit the composition, the devil's ones would be not very logical (even the evil knows that hanging on an edge + being able to fly ...you know, is not very smart  ) 100% Closeups (not edited): [link]-- EDIT: Spiced things up a little bit with additional colours and contrast. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 23h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices.
